MONDE NISSIN: MAMON-IT-YOURSELF MINIONS
Mamon-it-yourself was a promo campaign by one of the biggest brands in the Philippines, Monde Nissin in June 2015. Users had to buy the Monde Mamon product that includes the Minion Maker Kit and all they had to do was create their own version of the Monde Mamon Minion, take a photo and then upload it on the website in order for them to win premiere tickets to Minions in the Philippines.
This was a big challenge for me as a designer because I needed my design to be approved by two clients, Monde Nissin and the Universal Studios USA. As I was promoting both a global movie and a local product at the same time, I made sure that there was a balance between the two different brands.
Knowing how strict Universal Studios is when it comes to their design guidelines, I laid out all the elements properly and created the right sizes of the logos, copy, product shot, Minions characters and its proper combinations to show the balance. For the colors, I combined that of both brands: Blue for the movie characters and yellow for the local product, Mamon.
